Armenian PM: Peace - number one security guarantee

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the current security system in the country has proven ineffective.

Pashinyan made these remarks at the second Global Armenian Summit, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media. 

"Our security architecture has turned out to be ineffective. We believed we could live in the region with closed borders, speak as we wished, and rely on our allies—whether distant or close—to ensure our security. However, it has become clear that third countries may act in their own interests. Therefore, the number one security guarantee is peace."
