Armenian PM’s office denies information about snap parliamentary elections
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office Taron Chakhoyan has said that some media outlets are spreading fake news.
“Some media outlets are spreading fake news beginning from the resignation of the prime minister and ending with the snap parliamentary elections, as an April Fool's joke to mislead the public. Today is April Fools' Day for the media outlets spreading false news all year long. Please do not take such information seriously, everyone is in high spirits and happy April Fools' Day,” Caliber.Az reports citing Chakhoyan’s message on Facebook.
Earlier, the Armenian media outlets reported that Pashinyan has decided to hold the snap parliamentary elections in September. In this regard, Pashinyan held an emergency meeting of the party.
