Armenian PM says hybrid war talk has basis, but ties stay positive
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said there is no contradiction between his calls for constructive relations with Russia and his recent remarks about a "hybrid war" being waged by Moscow against Armenia.
Speaking to journalists, Pashinyan responded to questions regarding his earlier statements, noting that concerns about hybrid warfare are not unfounded, Caliber.Az reports.
He pointed to rhetoric from certain Russian television channels, commentators, and public figures that have raised alarm in Yerevan.
However, the prime minister emphasised that he chooses not to define Armenian-Russian relations solely through this perspective. Instead, he underscored the importance of ongoing dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin and highlighted the personal trust that exists between them.
