Austrian ambassador to Tehran evacuated to Azerbaijan photo

Five diplomats from Austria have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, according to local media reports.

The evacuation took place through the Astara Border Crossing, which connects the two countries.

Among those evacuated was Friedrich Stift, Austria’s ambassador to Tehran.

After completing the required registration procedures at the border checkpoint, the diplomats proceeded to their respective destinations.
