08 April 2024 19:50

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held discussions on the regional landscape with a delegation from the EU Council's Political and Security Committee, led by Delfin Pronk.

The Armenian government's press service, as reported by Sputnik Armenia, confirms the meeting.

The European delegation, currently on a regional tour, arrived in Yerevan and will further visit Tbilisi and Baku.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan affirmed Yerevan's commitment to the agreements previously reached within the negotiation framework with Baku, notably emphasizing mutual recognition of territorial integrity based on the Almaty Declaration.

In the broader context of ensuring regional stability and security, Pashinyan underscored the significant role of the EU monitoring mission. Markus Ritter, the mission's head, was also in attendance at the meeting.
