Armenian ruling party: Opposition rushes to power to return loot
MP of the parliamentary power faction "Civil Contract" Hovik Aghazaryan has normal attitude to the actions of disobedience carried out by the opposition. He says that political forces and citizens exercise their constitutional right.
As reported by Caliber.Az referring to the Armenian media, the MP expressed this opinion at a meeting with media representatives. At the same time, Agazaryan said that the actions should be carried out within the framework of the law and not violate the rights of other citizens.
"In political terms, I think this is a class struggle, not a struggle for Karabakh. On one side of the struggle are people who are used to living at someone else's expense, to enrich themselves through robbery. It was this class that came out to fight against the common people, against those who earn their living legally," Aghazaryan noted. According to him, the opposition is pursuing its struggle to return to power in order to protect the property acquired illegally.
At the same time, the MP believes that among the participants of the actions, there are people who took to the street out of sincere motives. It was them that Hovik Aghazaryan urged to be guided by their own ideology and not follow the instructions of the opposition.
"They have no other way to come to power, except for the implementation of hybrid options of "March 1" and "October 27"," the MP said.
He also assured that Nikol Pashinyan and the authorities are fully in control of the situation, and the opposition is trying to use the tools that were used during the change of power in 2018.
"Ishkhan Saghatelyan declares: we will come and return the loot. Then we said that Serzh Sargsyan does not own the situation. Today, they repeat the same thing: Nikol Pashinyan does not own the situation. It only remains for them to declare that they will come and punish us for not punishing them," Hovik Aghazaryan said in conclusion.
