Armenian separatist comes clean about enough food, nonexistent blockade
Ruben Vardanyan, known in Azerbaijani society as the so-called “minister of state” in Khankendi, has said that the Armenian population of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh economic region receives food.
“We get a little bit of food from the Red Cross and Russian peacekeepers,” Vardanyan said in an interview with UK’s Byline Times, according to Caliber.Az.
By this statement, the so-called “minister of state” refuted his fictitious thesis “about the blockade”. Azerbaijani officials have repeatedly refuted Vardanyan's lies and stated that people freely move and humanitarian cargo is freely transported.
The journalists report daily when and how many vehicles of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the International Committee of the Red Cross deliver food and medicine to Khankendi and take people requiring medical treatment to Armenia.
Neither the Azerbaijani authorities nor the rally participants on the Lachin road impede the movement of these vehicles.
By his statement, Vardanyan himself confirmed that there was no blockade, which the Azerbaijani side has been repeatedly talking about for 27 days.
