ASTRA: One of Russia’s largest ports hit by drone strike, fire erupts PHOTO/VIDEO
A fire broke out at the Ust-Luga port in Leningrad Oblast following a drone attack, according to eyewitness footage geolocated by OSINT analyst ASTRA.
Photos were taken from the town of Ust-Luga, while video published by Supernova+ came from the Ust-Luga Customs Post.
Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed the “fire in the port area”:
“56 drones were neutralised over Leningrad Oblast during the aerial alert. In Ust-Luga, firefighting efforts are underway in the port zone,” he said. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
Ust-Luga is one of Russia’s largest multi-purpose ports on the Baltic Sea, located in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. In 2025, the port handled 130.5 million tonnes of cargo, including liquid bulk—crude oil, petroleum products, liquid chemicals, ammonia, and urea—as well as coal, mineral fertilisers, iron ore, grain, agricultural products, and containers.
The port was previously targeted in August 2025.
