Azerbaijan attracts over $6 billion in foreign direct investment In non-oil sector from 2019 to 2023

Azerbaijan has attracted $6.2 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) into its non-oil sector from 2019 to 2023, Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) said.

Notably, more than $2 billion of this total was invested in 2023 alone, marking the highest annual figure ever recorded and representing a 9 per cent increase compared to 2022, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

In 2022, the leading sources of foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan were Russia, Türkiye, the UAE, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, demonstrating a diverse interest in the country's growing non-oil economy.
