Azerbaijan, Pakistan keen to strengthen cooperation across various sectors
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Federal Minister for Privatisation, Investment Board and Communications of Pakistan, Abdul Aleem Khan have explored avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation.
The sides praised the dynamic growth of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries across multiple sectors, Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers told Caliber.Az.
The meeting also underscored that the bilateral ties have reached a new level following the official visit by Azerbaijan’s President to Pakistan last year.
During discussions, the officials focused on the potential for further strengthening strategic partnerships between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and other areas of mutual interest.
Both parties highlighted the importance of fostering deeper cooperation to achieve sustainable growth and shared development goals.
Earlier, Minister Khan held talks with Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, in Baku. During the meeting, an agreement was reached for an Azerbaijani delegation to visit Pakistan in February to assess investment prospects, especially in the M-6 and M-9 motorway projects, which link Karachi with Sukkur and Sukkur with Hyderabad.
