Baku's Azerbaijan-Spain Business Forum set to open doors for new investments
Baku is gearing up to host the highly anticipated Azerbaijan-Spain Business Forum this March, a key event aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
This announcement was made during a meeting between the Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and a delegation from the Spanish Embassy in Ankara, Caliber.Az reports.
The meeting centred on discussions about organizing the business forum as part of the planned visit of the Spanish delegation to Azerbaijan.
"During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the organisation of meetings and business forum to be held within the planned visit of the Spanish delegation to Azerbaijan in March this year, prospects of cooperation between the two countries, joint initiatives planned for implementation, as well as opportunities for mutual partnership," the press release read.
According to AZPROMO, the forum will serve as a platform to explore new avenues for cooperation and to exchange views on joint initiatives.
A representative from AZPROMO stated, "During the meeting, we discussed various aspects of cooperation, including upcoming projects and ways to enhance our mutual partnership."
Both sides acknowledged the crucial role of supporting AZPROMO's initiatives to foster economic relations. As the Spanish delegation prepared for its visit, emphasis was placed on further enhancing the legislative framework governing trade between the two nations.
The forum is expected to delve into expanding areas of mutual interest and could lead to significant advancements in trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Azerbaijan and Spain.
