Spanish business delegation to explore agricultural opportunities in Azerbaijan
Spain’s Trade and Economic Office, in collaboration with the Association of Agricultural Producers (AGRAGEX), is organizing a trade mission to Azerbaijan set for March 3-4, 2025.
The mission aims to highlight business opportunities within Azerbaijan’s agricultural and agro-industrial sectors, Caliber.Az reports referencing local news agency.
It is expected to serve as a valuable platform for Spanish companies looking to either enter the Azerbaijani market or expand their presence within the country.
“This mission will provide an excellent opportunity for Spanish agricultural companies to foster cooperation and strengthen business relations with Azerbaijan,” the Trade and Economic Office in Ankara stated.
The mission will include representatives from various sectors, including irrigation, greenhouses, plant protection products, and plant and animal health and nutrition.
Additionally, Baku is preparing to host the Azerbaijan-Spain Business Forum this March, an important event designed to further solidify economic relations between the two countries. This development followed discussions between Azerbaijan's Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and a Spanish Embassy delegation from Ankara.
The meeting focused on organizing the business forum alongside the Spanish delegation's visit to Azerbaijan. Both sides explored prospects for enhancing cooperation, implementing joint initiatives, and creating new opportunities for mutual partnerships.
According to AZPROMO, the forum will provide an ideal platform to discuss trade, investment, and other economic collaboration prospects, which could lead to substantial advancements in Azerbaijan-Spain relations.
