Azerbaijan–Belarus food trade gains momentum with 1.5-fold increase
Mutual food supplies between Azerbaijan and Belarus increased by 1.5 times in 2025, highlighting growing economic ties between the two countries, Belarusian Ambassador Dmitry Pinevich said.
Speaking at a seminar of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange in Baku, Pinevich noted that Minsk is particularly focused on expanding cooperation in the supply and processing of dairy products.
“This includes powdered milk and other dairy products,” he said.
The ambassador stressed that Azerbaijan and Belarus maintain a strategic partnership, which is especially significant amid global economic uncertainty.
“Living in a turbulent world, the impact on economic cooperation is especially felt. In this regard, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange plays a special role in communication with Azerbaijan,” Pinevich added.
