Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss cooperation in digital auditing PHOTO

The heads of the audit authorities of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed prospects for cooperation in digital auditing during a visit to Tashkent by Tamerlan Yusif-zade, head of the Office of Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Accounts.

The visit focused on Uzbekistan’s experience in remote auditing, digital transformation, big data analysis and the use of artificial intelligence, Caliber.Az reports.

Yusif-zade met acting chairman of Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Accounts M. Abdullayev. The sides discussed developing cooperation between the two supreme audit institutions, continuing the exchange of experience in digital auditing and data analytics, and future areas of cooperation.

During the visit, Uzbek officials presented the main functions and modules of the Remote Audit automated information system, including the integration of data from external sources and the processing and analysis of information.

The Uzbek side also presented its work on introducing artificial intelligence technologies.

The two sides exchanged experience on using artificial intelligence to identify risks and applying such approaches in audit processes.
