Azerbaijan, China look to expand renewable energy cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Azerenerji OJSC and China’s Universal Energy have discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in renewable energy and other areas of the energy sector.

The discussions were held as Baba Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of Azerenerji, met with Nan Yi, Chairman and President of China's Universal Energy, Caliber.Az repors, citing Azerenerji.

The meeting focused on cooperation in renewable energy, the activities of Chinese energy companies in Azerbaijan, and prospects for further collaboration.

“The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest in the energy sector and considered opportunities to expand cooperation,” Azerenerji noted.
