Azerbaijan, Bulgaria to sign Cultural Cooperation Programme

Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan are set to sign a Cultural Cooperation Programme for the period 2025-2029, according to Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture.

The agreement was discussed during a meeting between Minister of Culture Marian Bachev and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Sofia, Huseyn Huseynov, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Bachev highlighted that both nations share a strong desire to deepen their collaboration not only in energy and transport but also in key areas such as culture, education, science, information technology, and innovation. He suggested that enhancing ties across various cultural domains would be beneficial for both countries.

The Minister expressed confidence that the signing of the Cultural Cooperation Programme would mark a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations in the cultural sector.

He further noted that the Ministry of Culture would continue its active efforts to expand collaboration with Azerbaijan, including organising mutual cultural weeks.
