Azerbaijan’s Albanian-Udi community members visit Khudavang Complex PHOTO

Representatives of the Albanian-Udi Christian Community in Azerbaijan have visited the Khudavang Monastery Complex in the Kalbajar district.

The community’s representatives are currently performing religious rites at the monastery complex, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Khudavang is regarded as the largest monastery complex in the region and is considered an important historical and cultural landmark.

The complex is included on Azerbaijan’s official list of immovable monuments of history and culture of global significance, approved by a 2001 resolution of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers.
