Three-day international film festival concludes in Lachin
The first international film festival held in Karabakh and East Zangazur has concluded in Lachin after three days of screenings and events.
According to Azerbaijani state media, the festival was held in the Lachin district on the initiative of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Agency operating under the ministry, as well as the Karabakh Revival Fund, the Baku City Services Department and other institutions. Hoçazfilm studio provided organisational support for the event.
Around 300 films from 47 countries were submitted for consideration. Organisers selected 20 films representing 15 countries for screening at the festival.
The programme also included a special Karabakh premiere of the Uzbek-produced film “Emir Timur.”
