Baku hosts international conference honoring Azerbaijani thinker PHOTO

An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the legacy of Azerbaijani thinker and scholar Sheikh Seyid Yahya Bakuvi has been held in Baku.

The conference was organised on the margins of the7th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), bringing together religious leaders, scholars and intellectuals from across the Turkic and Islamic world, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The discussions focused on Sheikh Seyid Yahya Bakuvi’s scientific, philosophical and spiritual heritage, as well as his contribution to the intellectual and Sufi traditions of the Islamic world.

Participants also highlighted the contemporary relevance of Bakuvi’s legacy and its significance for the preservation and promotion of the shared intellectual and spiritual heritage of the Turkic and Muslim world.
