Azerbaijan, China strengthen petrochemical ties with new framework accord PHOTO
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Mo Dingge, Chairman of China National Chemical Engineering (CNCEC), advanced bilateral cooperation in the petrochemical sector on September 2, in Tianjin, China.
The sides discussed collaboration in petrochemical production, oil refining, and related industrial activities, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Mo Dingge highlighted Azerbaijan’s favourable investment climate as a key factor for expanding joint ventures.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Framework Agreement between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation “Seven LTD” in the presence of the president of Azerbaijan and the company’s chairman.
The agreement envisions the implementation of joint projects in Azerbaijan and in third countries.
