Azerbaijan concerned over situation in Ukraine

"The situation in Ukraine causes serious concern."

The remarks came on September 20 from Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during his speech at the 39th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, held as part of the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Report informs.

According to him, it is important to solve the crisis through diplomacy in line with international law, especially in accordance with the principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty within the internationally recognized borders of states.

The Minister said that Azerbaijan has so far provided humanitarian assistance to Ukraine worth 15 million euros.
