Azerbaijan detains former commander of Armenian occupation troops in Garabagh

On September 29, as a result of the vigilance of employees of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Lyova Mnatsakanyan (born in 1965) was detained at the Lachin checkpoint, Azerbaijan's State Border Service told Caliber.Az.
Lyova Mnatsakanyan, who illegally arrived on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held the "post" of the "minister of defence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" in 2015-2018.
Lyova Mnatsakanyan was detained while trying to leave Azerbaijan for Armenia.
The detainee was taken to Baku accompanied by the rapid reaction forces of the State Border Guard Service and handed over to the relevant state authorities for decision-making.
