Azerbaijan hosts opening of Turkmenistan Culture Days

The opening ceremony of the Turkmenistan Culture Days took place today (October 3) at the Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku, organised by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture.

Guests were allowed to explore photo and painting exhibitions showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The event also featured demonstrations of traditional Turkmen music, national costumes, decorative and applied arts, and museum artefacts.

In addition, a "Turkmen Literature Corner" is set to open at the Azerbaijan National Library, further highlighting the literary traditions of Turkmenistan.

The three-day cultural programme, running until October 15, aims to strengthen ties between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and to promote greater cultural cooperation.
