Azerbaijan increases natural gas production - minister
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has said that natural gas production increased in Azerbaijan during the first ten months of 2023.
“Natural gas production in Azerbaijan in the first ten months of this year increased by 4.2 per cent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 40.1 billion cubic meters, of which 19.8 billion cubic meters were exported,” Shahbazov wrote on his X account, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the minister, during the mentioned period, oil and condensate production in Azerbaijan amounted to 25.3 million tons.
As noted, Azerbaijan exported 21 million tons of oil and condensate.
Moreover, the minister added that Azerbaijan exported 9.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe in the first ten months of 2023.
According to the minister, exports to Türkiye during this period amounted to 8.1 billion cubic meters, to Georgia - 1.9 billion cubic meters.
In addition, the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline reportedly delivered 4.7 billion cubic meters of gas to Türkiye.
