Disturbing reports of planned massacres in Baku, involving a group intending to commit mass murder of minors in schools and a shopping centre, have surfaced on social media platforms, sparking widespread concern.
The alleged plot has prompted swift action from the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry (MIA), as they launch an investigation into the matter.
In response to an enquiry from Oxu.Az, the Ministry's press service confirmed that they are actively addressing the reports and keeping the situation under control.
"A check is being carried out in this connection, the public will be provided with additional information," the press service said.
