Azerbaijan preparing to return people to Khojaly

Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced People Rovshan Rzayev has met with a group of internally displaced people from Khojaly.

The situation after the victory in the 44-day second Garabagh war gained by the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and local anti-terrorist measures taken within one day in the Garabagh economic region were discussed during the meeting, the committee told Caliber.Az.

The implementation of the measures envisaged in the first state programme for the great return to the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the progress and prospects of the return to the native lands were also discussed.
The preparation for returning to Khojaly has begun.
