Azerbaijan ready to share experience in agriculture with other countries - minister
Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov has said that taking into account that the agricultural workforce decreased by 17 percent in the world over the past 20 years, involvement of young people in agriculture is essential.
“We must work with young people, as they have significant advantages in terms of broad digital literacy and the use of innovative solutions to accelerate this process and ensure proper integration,” Karimov made these remarks at a round table within the international conference "Vision for the Future: Transition to Digital Agriculture", Report informs.
The Azerbaijani government highly appreciates the effective cooperation in the field of agriculture with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Bank, the European Union, the UN Development Program, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and other influential international organizations. Azerbaijan is a reliable international partner and is ready to share its achievements and experience with other countries,” the minister said.
