Azerbaijan restoring poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan's handmade jacket PHOTO

Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan's handmade jacket is being restored at the Azerbaijani National Museum of History.

The jacket is in the restoration laboratory of the museum, the National Museum of History told APA.

Taking into account the historical and cultural significance of one of the pearls of Karabakh, the jacket will be restored without removing its parts.

This method is quite difficult for restoration, however, this way the complete authenticity of Khurshidbanu Natavan's handmade work is preserved. After the completion of the restoration and conservation work, the jacket will be presented to the public.

Textile conservator at the museum Nurida Huseynova is restoring the jacket.
