Azerbaijan attaches great importance to UNESCO cooperation, minister says
Azerbaijani Culture Minister Adil Kerimli has highlighted his country's contribution to UNESCO activities, saying it attaches great importance to cooperation with the organisation.
During a meeting in Paris with Nasser bin Hamad Al-Hinzab, Chair of the UNESCO Executive Board and Qatar’s Permanent Representative, he discussed multilateral cooperation within the organisation, the protection of cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, and international humanitarian initiatives, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Kerimli emphasised the importance Azerbaijan attaches to its cooperation with UNESCO.
The sides also exchanged views on initiatives of mutual interest, discussed strengthening cooperation among UNESCO member states, and highlighted the role of culture in advancing international cooperation.
