Azerbaijan's Culture Ministry participating in Moscow International Film Week
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture has announced that the Russian Federation's Creative Industries Agency organised the Moscow International Film Week from August 23 to 28.
The event saw participation from a diverse array of countries, including the US, Türkiye, India, China, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the UAE, and others, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Head of the Creative Industries and Digital Transformation Department at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture Rashad Azizov represented Azerbaijan at the Moscow International Film Week. Azizov took part in panel discussions on "Creative Economy" and met with representatives from the creative industries of various countries.
The event featured attendees from international film commissions, leaders and experts from the film industry across 25 countries. Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) is one of the oldest world film forums (the second after the Venice Film Festival). The Moscow International Film Festival has been leading its history since 1935. In 1999 MIFF became an annual event.
