Azerbaijan’s rich heritage shines at Tajikistan’s National Museum PHOTO
As part of Azerbaijan Culture Days, the National Museum of Tajikistan has recently hosted the exhibition "National Heritage of Azerbaijan: Living in the Pearls of Art", celebrating Azerbaijan’s rich cultural legacy with a grand opening attended by prominent cultural and diplomatic figures.
The opening ceremony saw the participation of Azerbaijan's Culture Minister Adil Karimli, Tajik Minister of Culture Matlubakhon Sattoriyen and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Dushanbe, Alimirzamin Asgarov, the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry told Caliber.Az.
Diplomats from Türkiye, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and several other countries were also in attendance, alongside renowned cultural figures and public personalities.
During the event, Director of the National Museum of Tajikistan Zafarsho Ibrahimzoda and Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art Shirin Melikova shared insights into the historical and cultural ties between the two countries. They discussed the concept of the exhibition, emphasising the shared cultural heritage and the enduring connection between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
