Azerbaijan secures $6 billion in contracts on first day of int'l investment forum

The total value of contracts and agreements signed on the first day of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF'25) has already reached approximately $6 billion, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov stated.

"On the first day alone, the value of signed contracts and projects exceeded $5.5 billion. Several more important documents will be signed tomorrow, covering economic and investment projects both within and outside the country," Jabbarov told reporters on Monday, September 22, Caliber.Az reports.

The minister expressed confidence that holding the annual investment forum in Azerbaijan will contribute to both the country's economic growth and the strengthening of economic ties within the region.
