Azerbaijan sees sevenfold increase in state budget surplus

The revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget reached 17,899.4 billion manats ($10,529.05 billion), while expenditures stood at 15,334.8 billion manats ($9,020.4 billion) from January through July this year which is by 27.4 per cent and 12.1 per cent respectively more than in the same period of last year.

As a result, a surplus worth 2,564.6 billion manats ($1,508.5 billion) was created in the budget which is seven times more than a year earlier, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
