Azerbaijan to host Jazz Days on July 6-7.

The 4th Baku Summer Jazz Days will take place on July 6-7.

The geography of the participants of the previous festivals included such countries as Switzerland, France, Israel, Georgia, the USA, Turkey, Hungary, and Russia, Report was told by the Ministry of Culture.

Within the framework of this project, such well-known musicians as Avichai Cohen, Eric Eruffaz, Jackie Terrasson, Stephan Belmondo, and Nick West performed for the first time in Baku.

On July 6, the festival will be opened by American jazz pianist and composer Emmet Cohen with his trio. On July 7, the program will continue with the quartet of the famous Swedish-Turkish saxophonist, composer, actor, and producer İlhan Erşahin.

During the festival, Azerbaijani performers will also perform, including Diana Hajiyeva, Firudin Hamidov and others.

This year the concerts will be held in the open air in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Center. Free admission.

The festival will be organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and Premier LTD.
