Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss strengthening cultural ties

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov has held a meeting with his Turkmen counterpart Nursakhet Shirimov, during which the two sides discussed prospects for developing cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

They stressed the importance of developing fraternal relations between the two countries across all areas, including culture, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The meeting highlighted the importance of further deepening cooperation in the context of the ancient cultural proximity of the Azerbaijani and Turkmen peoples, as well as organising mutual cultural days.
