Azerbaijani ambassador congratulates newly appointed Greek diplomat to Baku

Greece has appointed its new Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Christos Kapodistrias.

The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Athens, Anar Huseynov, met the diplomat on December 6 to congratulate him on his appointment.

His post on his official Twitter account on their meeting reads: "I wish my Greek colleague in Baku, Ambassador Christos Kapodistrias, all the best and success in developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Greece!"

He is scheduled to arrive in Baku shortly to replace the previous Greek Ambassador, Nikolaos Piperigos.
