Azerbaijani artists showcase their works at international exhibition in Georgia
An international art exhibition titled “Səthin o tayında” is being held in Tbilisi.
According to Report’s Georgian bureau, the exhibition features artists from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye, New Zealand, Canada, as well as Iran, Pakistan, India and the United Arab Emirates.
The exhibition aims to bring together representatives of the arts from different countries and promote visual art as a means of intercultural interaction.
Elminaz Gahramanova, Azerbaijan’s curator for the event, said that a total of 43 artists are representing the country at the exhibition. According to her, the works on display are created using various techniques, including carpet weaving, watercolour, tapestry and oil painting.
It should be noted that the international exhibition seeks to demonstrate the boundless language of art and to foster the expansion of creative ties among different nations. The event is regarded as a landmark occasion in Georgia’s cultural life.
The exhibition will run until March 5.
