Azerbaijani Catholics devote Holy Mass to second Karabakh war martyrs PHOTO
Sunday [September 25] Holy Mass in the Roman Catholic Parish of St John Paul II in Baku city has been dedicated to the souls of martyrs who were killed during the 44-day second Karabakh war.
According to the mass, "May they [martyrs] be priests before the Throne of the Highest God for our country and for the world", the Roman Catholic Parish told Caliber.Az.
"Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, may the Eternal Light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. May the Lord grant their families patience and comfort. May the Lord grant peace to our country and to the whole world," the mass says.
Moreover, a group of Azerbaijani Catholics visited the Alley of Martyrs I, II and the Alley of Martyrs of the 44-day second Karabakh war on the eve of September 27 - the Day of Remembrance, where they revered the memory of the heroes who died for the Motherland.
