Azerbaijani commandos demonstrate their capabilities in battles - defence minister

Azerbaijan's Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov has said that the Azerbaijani commandos demonstrated their capabilities in the battles that took place last month during the Armenian provocation on the border.

Hasanov spoke about a number of works carried out in the Azerbaijani army to introduce the “Turkish model,” according to APA.

“Most of the work has been completed. The organizational and staffing structure and the system, mainly management, have been changed. This has been successfully implemented, and has shown itself in recent battles. As you know, work is also underway to organize military units. Military units of commandos have been created and are operating," he said.

The minister added that “they successfully completed the task. Other issues are also being successfully implemented”.

“The Azerbaijani army is interested in most of the weapons that are on display at the Saha Expo in Türkiye. Agreements have already been signed," he said.

According to him, a number of agreements have already been signed. The minister noted that Türkiye has been doing a lot of work in the field of arms production over recent years.
