Azerbaijani culture takes centre stage at special event in Brazil
An event titled “Azerbaijani Culture Day” has been held in the Brazilian city of Lago Sul with the aim of promoting Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, according to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The event was organised with the support of the State Committee and initiated by Fabiana Jeyhan, President of the Brazilian Network of International Journalists.
The program featured Azerbaijani national music and dances, traditional costumes, and samples of folk art reflecting the country’s ancient traditions and cultural heritage.
In addition, exhibition stands showcased national cuisine, where participants had the opportunity to taste Azerbaijani dishes prepared by chef Halil Ceyhan.
The event contributed to a broader international awareness of Azerbaijani culture, played an important role in preserving national identity, and helped strengthen cultural ties between the two countries. It was also widely covered in the Brazilian press.
