Azerbaijani Defence Ministry vows adequate response to Armenian provocations

The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reacted to the information disseminated in the Armenian press about the shelling by the Azerbaijani army of the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of Yukhara Shorja, Basarkechar region.

According to Caliber.Az, the ministry explained the situation with the return fire that was opened on the units of the Armenian Armed Forces in response to the enemy's targeting the positions of the Azerbaijani army.

“In the future, our units will take adequate response measures,” the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
