Azerbaijani media official: Iran looking for external enemy to pacify protests VIDEO
We all see that there is growing dissatisfaction inside Iran with the authorities of that country; people are tired of the mullahs' regime, they want democracy and a secular way of life.
The statement was made by Hamid Hamidov, Media Director of Azerbaijan’s Global Media Group, commenting on CBC TV Azerbaijan the reasons for Iran's activities directed against Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.
Hamidov said that Iran is trying to divert people's attention from the internal problems.
“According to the primitive opinion of the Iranian authorities, the ‘external enemy’ should rally people and they will stop going out. But the fact is that the ‘external enemy’ represented by Azerbaijan is in no way suitable for Iran, where 35-40 million Azerbaijanis live,” he explained.
