Azerbaijani top diplomat honors Army’s role in restoring sovereignty

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov issued a heartfelt message on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, paying tribute to the nation’s military and honoring the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Minister Bayramov expressed his sincere congratulations to the personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, commending their dedication and valor, Caliber.Az reports.

FM Bayramov emphasized the pivotal role the military has played in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

"I sincerely congratulate the personnel of the glorious Azerbaijani Army, which, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, restored the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country, bringing our people the joy of Victory," Bayramov wrote.

"The Armed Forces are the guarantor of our independence and security. I honour with deep respect the memory of sons and daughters who gave their lives for Azerbaijan," he added.

Armed Forces Day, marked annually on June 26, commemorates the establishment of the Azerbaijani military and serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength of the nation’s defence forces.
