Azerbaijan's PM, Turkish parliament speaker discuss bilateral relations

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has held a meeting with a delegation led by Numan Kurtulmuş, the speaker of Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly, during which the two sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations based on brotherhood, alliance and mutual trust.

The meeting highlighted the significance of the 20th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, which is being held in Baku, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.

They emphasised that interparliamentary cooperation remains an important component of bilateral ties.

The participants also underscored the importance of regular contacts and reciprocal visits between the legislative bodies of the two countries and discussed prospects for further expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
