Azerbaijan, UAE explore cooperation on family, women, children’s rights PHOTO
Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, Bahar Muradova, has discussed prospects for cooperation in the protection of family, women’s and children’s rights with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Azerbaijan, Mohammed Al Blooshi.
In this regard, the sides proposed establishing links with the UAE Ministry of Family Protection as well as organising reciprocal visits in this field, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Both parties expressed confidence that experience-sharing and institutional cooperation in this area will contribute to the social policies of both countries in the future.
Moreover, Muradova highlighted the strong ties between Azerbaijan and the UAE, describing the relationship as one built on shared historical, cultural and national values.
She said relations between the two countries had strengthened in recent years, particularly in the areas of trade, the economy and politics.
Muradova also pointed to growing cooperation in strategic sectors such as green energy and digital technologies.
Ambassador Al Blooshi echoed these remarks, noting that bilateral ties were grounded in mutual respect and continued to develop across a broad range of sectors.
