Azerbaijani media registry adds 180 new journalists

Around 200 media entities have forwarded their application to be included in Azerbaijan's media registry.

This figure was provided by Ahmed Ismayilov, the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency Azerbaijan (MEDIA) while speaking at a conference on the agency's outcomes of 2022, according to Report.

According to Ismayilov, around 150 media institutes and 180 journalists have already been included in the registry, noting that the registering happens on a voluntary basis.
