Baku names Smart Karabakh hackathon winners as part of TEKNOFEST PHOTO

The winning teams of the Smart Karabakh hackathon have been disclosed in Baku as part of the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan festival, which was co-organized by Azerbaijan's Digital Development and Transport Ministry, the Turkish Technology Development Foundation (TTGV), and the Industry and Technology Ministry.

Twenty teams from Azerbaijan and 10 from Turkiye developed and presented to the jury "smart solutions" in the spheres of education, agriculture, transport, household, energy consumption, water use, environment and security aimed at de-occupied Karabakh's rehabilitation, Report informs, referring to the Azerbaijani Digital Development and Transport Ministry.

The Azerbaijani Safe Karabakh team (Safe Karabakh mobile application) ranks first, while the Turkish Sytemator team (SINA sprayer drone) took second place, which is followed by the Turkish A team (sustainable ecological smart city model).

The prize pool of the hackathon was $10,000 (1st place), $5,000 (2nd place) and $3,000 (3rd place).
