Baku-Yerevan delimitation commissions to convene following ratification of regulation on joint activity
The next meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian delimitation commissions is set to take place after both countries ratify their respective regulation on joint activity.
Mher Grigoryan, chairman of Armenia's commission on border delimitation with Azerbaijan, announced this in a parliamentary session, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
Grigoryan noted, "I cannot specify where the next delimitation session will be held. Our agreement with the Azerbaijani side is that once we complete our internal procedures for approving the regulations and exchange notifications, we will convene to discuss and determine the next steps regarding the border sections."
The Armenian Deputy Prime Minister is currently presenting the regulation to the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, after which they will be included on the main agenda of the parliament on October 22.
The regulation was signed by the deputy prime ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 30.
