Chinese media hails Türkiye's effort in developing fifth-generation fighter jet
Türkiye's defence industry successes do not go unnoticed abroad.
This time, the Chinese media wrote about a Turkish project of a new generation combat aircraft.
According to the Turkish news service Yeniakit, one of China's leading newspapers, People's Daily, published the headline "Türkiye unveils fifth generation fighter".
The news praised Türkiye's rapidly developing aviation power and wrote that the next-generation fighter was far ahead of its counterparts.
The aircraft, which can carry medium- and short-range air-to-air missiles, was said to be superior to similar aircraft developed by South Korea and India.
The article also mentions Türkiye's unmanned aerial vehicles.
"Türkiye wants to develop both a manned and unmanned aerial combat system combining a fifth-generation fighter and a UAV.
