CNN airs interview with Azerbaijan's tourism official VIDEO

CNN has broadcast an interview with Azerbaijan's tourism official.

In an interview with CNN, CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid said that "European market is very important for us", according to Report.

The CEO spoke about Azerbaijan's nature, climate, and cultural and historical heritage.

The interview took place on the sidelines of the World Tourism Market Exhibition underway in London (UK). The interview with the representative of Azerbaijan was prepared by famous journalist Richard Quest.

Answering the journalist's question "Why Azerbaijan?", Sengstschmid emphasised the beauty of the nature of this country, various climatic zones and peculiar tourist experiences, and told about the rich cultural and historical heritage of our country. In response to a question about the main target markets, he noted that now, along with neighbouring countries, the number of tourists from the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, including India and Pakistan, is growing.
